Using the Phoenix Hawk by Minimalistix as a starting point, I crafted my own battletech Crusader from scratch. As I dug deeper into its history, I discovered some intriguing documents that described the Crusader chassis as an upgraded version of the Phoenix Hawk, essentially transforming it into an armored behemoth with the firepower of a Valkyrie. However, it seemed this upgrade was more akin to a transformation from a lightweight Valkyrie to an armored variant, rather than a straightforward upgrade. Nonetheless, I decided to build two distinct torsos, each featuring different head styles that added to its unique appearance. To complete the look, I also created shoulder armor with either open or closed missile launchers, giving it a menacing presence on the battlefield.
