CRC-400 Rice Cooker Lid Part
thingiverse
I can replace the plastic insert on the Cuisinart CRC-400 rice cooker lid that can crack after eight years of use. First, you'll need to remove the screw, which has likely fallen out already since you're looking for a replacement. Use a Philips screwdriver with some torque, as this part doesn't have threads but relies on the screw's own threads to function. Expect to apply plenty of twist to get the screw into place. As I used my rice cooker normally on July 22, 2017, I can confirm that this replacement part held up for at least one use without issue. However, I did worry about heat and moisture from the cooker potentially causing it to fail during cooking - fortunately, this didn't happen. Keep in mind that while this part doesn't come into direct contact with food during cooking, using non-food-safe plastic is done at your own risk.
