Crazy Snow Cart

Crazy Snow Cart

My key inspiration for this design came from the December 22 deadline and the wintery setting of the announcement date, reminiscent of a white Christmastime. Visualizing snowy scenes inspired me to transform the "summer" Crazy Cart into a winter version, allowing people to have fun in the snow rather than just on a parking lot during summer months. To achieve this, I replaced the rear swivel wheels with skis, but added a chain and sprockets system connected to the drivetrain to ensure they moved together for control. Soft tips were added to the ski ends to protect spectators from sharp edges in case of accidents. The front wheel was fitted with a paddled tire and an additional larger ski for traction and to keep it floating on snow. The original support blocks were repositioned outward for stability during drifts. A skidplate was added to prevent snow buildup and protect electronics from freezing. Finally, the furry foxtail flag completed the wintery theme. All renderings were created using KeyShot with a self-made bump map for snow surfaces, and animations were shared on YouTube.
