Crazy Planetary Gear
thingiverse
A Derivative of My Asymmetric Planetary Gear The gears are two types: gear0 is center (red) and outside (blue), requiring 5 pieces total - 1 plus 4. Gear1 is an inner ring (green), necessitating 4 separate pieces. Gaps between the gears are abundant, allowing for minimal precision requirements. Mathematically speaking, gear systems cannot be calculated with perfect accuracy due to a factor of sqrt(2) in the formula. To avoid creating a remix, I have incorporated elements from this project into my own design.
