In this challenge, I envisioned attaching fire extinguishers to an office chair for a thrilling ride! Drawing inspiration from YouTube videos of fire extinguisher-equipped chairs and shopping trolleys with rockets, I aimed to create a wheeled chaos. Modifying the frame by adding brackets behind the seats was straightforward, and the seat alteration should not be an issue due to non-slip texture application. Design-wise, fire extinguishers from GrabCAD community were incorporated into the assembly for easy reachability without affecting driving experience. Using Solid Edge, I appreciated the assembly features and synchronous technology, planning to master it further. My animation turned out well, except for an unsuccessful smoke trail attempt. Keyshot graphics system made coloring and setting up shots easy, enhancing the project outcome. I express gratitude for hosting this challenge and offering a free trial of SolidEdge + Keyshot, which has been on my learning wishlist. I look forward to using these tools more in the future while sharing more exciting ideas! Special thanks to Joseph Beyroutey for the Fire Extinguisher model and Blair Hollswander for Mr. Dummy model that aided me in this project.
