Do you know the C60? #FIVERRCULTS Of course you do! Better known as "Footballéne" it is the sructure( officially adopted by FIFA in 1970) used to sew soccer balls... Historically this structure was invented by the creator of geodesic domes Buckminster Fuller then discovered in nature in 1985 The discoverers of the C60 "Kroto", 'Curl" and "Smalley" have moreover obtained the Nobel Prize of chemistry in 1996 and named it "Buckminsterfulleréne" in homage to its inventor. But why C60? Because it is a molecule of 60 carbon atoms. The "fullerenes" are therefore carbon molecules in the same way as diamond or graphite The C60 is composed of20 hexagons ,12 pentagons and 90 edges. I made an elegant "nest" for pens and other pencils.
