Crawler loader LR 634 Part 2 the lifting mechanism
thingiverse
The second part of this construction is about the mechanics of the loading shovel. The largest portion comes from Friedhelm Old's construction, but I've made some changes to accommodate my own needs. Specifically, I've replaced the 6mm threaded rods with Spax screws because they have a coarser threading and I wanted faster movements. In addition, I've combined four separate parts into one piece for the swingarm, which is a more straightforward design. You can find a detailed description of this construction in the appendix, along with several photos that illustrate each step of the process. I've also uploaded a short video to YouTube that demonstrates the speed and efficiency of these movements. If you'd like to see it, just follow the link at the end of this text.
