I have deliberately left out instructions, because if you're capable of building this you should also be capable of understanding the dangers of a singled drain blaster. By downloading this you agree to assume all risk of injury, damage, or harm caused by the blaster.Crater is a simple but effective single shot rifle designed to be reliable and cheap to manufacture. Including the drain blaster, all the hardware can be found for under $30, and the build is skeletonized to reduce the amount of plastic necessary. It is not designed to stand up to the rigors of a Nerf war, as that is not its intended purpose. The blaster is loaded via a sliding breech, and is charged by priming the drain blaster handle. It has been set up as a half length blaster, but conversion to use full length darts is very simple by using a longer piece of tubing for the breech. Similarly, the frame uses a 2' section of angle iron because it is what I had available, but a 3' angle iron would be better to support the barrel and keep it from sagging.A standard Nerf stock mount allows the attachment of most Nerf stocks, simplifying the printing process and allowing for aftermarket options. It comes with an optional Arca plate and Picatinny rail if you would like to mount a bipod or tripod. The muzzle exit is a standard 17/32" brass barrel, so many aftermarket muzzle devices can be attached on or easily modified to fit.
