Cranosaurus Fridge Magnet for holding notes

Cranosaurus Fridge Magnet for holding notes

cults3d

Crane model based on Cranosaurus from Szczecin city, featuring moving parts and the ability to hold notes with its hook, which is equipped with a second, small magnet. UPDATE: To utilize this design effectively, please use the new cranozaurus files, along with the Cranozaurus Magnet Move TILE if necessary. The hole sizes have been compensated for a 0.4mm nozzle and should function with most printers; however, you may require pliers to insert 1.75mm filament into holes more easily due to some resistance. If the hole appears too large, consider using the old files (cranozaurus) and a small drill to create the precise hole size. The new cranosaurus magnet.stl file contains all parts combined; you can also print individual components (designated by part numbers on the graphic). Yes, it is acknowledged that this design should be written with an 's' instead of a 'z'. Parts 1 and 2 can be attached together if desired. There is a file '_tile' available to assist with magnetic tape or thin magnets. Verify your magnet thickness; if it's less than 1.6mm, print the '_tile' part (resize it on the Z-axis to ensure the combined tile and magnet have a thickness of 1.6-1.7mm) and then attach the tile to part no.1. A short video showcasing the use of a magnet can be viewed at https://youtu.be/83pH6EfRe2I. A simple, free version of this crane is available on cults3d.com as Cranosaurus Fridge Magnet (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/home/cranosaurus-fridge-magnet). Additionally, a 21cm standing crane for assembly (>30 parts) can be found at https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/cranosaurus-for-assembling.
