Crankbait
thingiverse
This is a crankbait I designed while learning Fusion 360 from scratch. It's a single-piece design that utilizes screw-in eyelets for attaching hooks. The lure features an air bladder where one can insert beads to create noise by pausing the print process. A hole beneath the lip allows for adding a tiny splitshot for extra weight, which will make the lure sink nose-first into the water. Although I haven't tested it yet, the design looks incredibly promising. To get the best results when printing this crankbait, place its belly on the build plate and enable support from the build plate only. I'll update this information as soon as I'm able to test the lure in a real-world setting. Update 12/12/18: I've had the chance to test the crankbait in a large fish tank, and it's performing well in terms of action. I'll provide further updates once I can test it in a lake.
