Crank for Open Press - Easier Printing
thingiverse
I liked Wooman's modified crank for the Open Press, but found the holes were a bit too small for both the M5 screws and the roller pin when printed on my printer (perhaps I need to dial in my horizontal expansion settings...), so I widened them just a bit. The steep overhang on the bottom of the knob also made me a bit nervous, so I replaced it with a flat cylindrical shape. It may not look quite as nice, but it should be easier to print without supports. As with Wooman's design, you will need the following materials: 1 M5x50mm screw 1 M5 self locking nut 1 15mm M5 washer Update 11/22/21: Made the square hole a bit smaller and added a knob option with the original hole size.
