Update: 28 Oct 2019 HAARP's comment made me realize I had remodeled this thing with a T30 torx interface, but never posted it, so I'm including it now. The flat screwdriver interface wasn't great and hex was worse, but I find the T30 hex to be pretty strong. This is a small plastic part though, so you have to be careful no matter what interface it's got. It will strip easily. Rebuilding my wife's Crank Brothers eggbeater pedals had me thinking that the end cap would be something printable. In fact, the old version of the pedal, this part was plastic, making it feasible. Lighter than the aluminum version, but we're talking a gram here. You've got to really chase grams to do this for the weight reason!
