Crank brothers cleat setting tool - Double sided, Easier fit
thingiverse
Liked the original model, and it was the inspiration for this one. Use it's base and cutout as my design base. Made it shorter so it will fit on a more common 200x200 bed. You'll have to rotate 30-45 degrees to fit. The cutout is just around the cleat hole and cropped on the sides to more flexibly fit the opening on your shoes. The original block would not fit my shoes very well. I can see why you might need two to make comparison easier, but I think you can get away with 1 double sided tool if you take a little more time to get the comparison right. They are mirrored so one side will fit the right shoe and flip it around to fit the left shoe. See the red circles on the photos for areas you want to visibly mark on the first shoe so you can try to match them on the 2nd shoe. The fit is not super tight so try to be consistent on how you push it down to make sure your cleats match. I know I found my shoes pretty far apart before this tool. Hope this helps people out.
