Crane for assembling - UPDATED
cults3d
Cranosaurus Original size is approximately 21cm tall. Standing crane model for assembly - Updated (now with reel and several improvements) and it's available completely free of charge. Animation of how to assemble: https://youtu.be/t5jVspsCsL4 A brief instruction can be found on the photo. To assemble this crane, you will only need a thread to connect a large wheel and a hook, excluding printed parts. The STL file names indicate the quantity of parts required, not the total number of parts in the file. The 'main parts' file is suitable for printers with at least a 19x19cm bed. This version does not include pins, wheels, hooks, rings, sliders or base_load (which can be used to add extra weight to the base if needed, allowing you to pull something up using the crane). Pins labeled as 'fat' are designed for high-accuracy printers with smaller nozzles (less than 0.4) and specific slicer options. To ensure accurate assembly, print one normal-sized pin (170) and a ring first, then test it. Some force should be applied to insert the pin, but once in place, it should rotate easily. If the pin is too small, try using the 'fat' file instead. If it's still not suitable, resize it in your slicer software by reducing X and Z dimensions slightly (turn off uniform scaling and set X and Z to 90%, leaving Y at 100%).
