Cranosaurus Standing crane model for assembling - UPDATED (now with reel and few improvements) Animation of how to assemble: https://youtu.be/t5jVspsCsL4 Short instruction is on the photo. To assemble this cranosaurus, you'll need a thread to connect a wheel-big and a hook. That's it, excluding the printed parts. The original size of the model is approximately 21cm tall. When downloading STL files, note that the names indicate the number of parts needed, not the number of parts in each file. For printers with smaller beds (less than 19x19cm), use the 'all main parts' file. This version does not include pins, wheels, hook, rings, slider, or base_load. The base_load is optional and adds weight to the base for lifting heavy objects with the crane. If you have a high-accuracy printer, smaller nozzle (less than 0.4), or specific slicer options, use the 'fat' pin file for better results. First, print one normal size pin170 and a ring to test their accuracy. Some force should be applied to insert the pin, but it should rotate smoothly afterward. If the pin is too small, try using the 'fat' file instead. If it's still too big, resize it in your slicer by adjusting the uniform scaling settings and reducing the X and Z dimensions to 90% while keeping Y at 100%.
