Human: An extensive area of carved outcrop discovered to the east of Kenmore and Loch Tay in Perthshire, Scotland. George Currie found it in the mid noughties while conducting surveys of the area. The prominent outcrop stands as a knoll, measuring approximately 10x10m. Over 100 cups are scattered about its fractured upper surface, many with rings, penannulars, keyholes, oculi and grooves. Given the number and variety of motifs, it's safe to assume multiple phases of carving took place. Once recorded, Scotland's Rock Art Project will feature this panel here: https://www.rockart.scot/rock-art-database/?scrapToolsaction=datatools:panel&id=928035B0-88D9-4B37-801F4402324C7A00 A 3D model was created from 121 photos taken during a rapid, 10-minute hand-held SfM survey in May 2009. The survey's intended use was on Microsoft Photosynth, with a 3-megapixel setting that produced less-than-ideal imagery and noisy surface details in some areas.
