Designed specifically for this saw, but also compatible with other Craftsman/Skilsaw table saws that feature a similar mitre slot design. The rail is intentionally shortened to allow for the placement of washers underneath, thereby elevating it above the slot and facilitating gluing to the sled. This setup minimizes side-to-side play, ensuring the rail runs straight. Two rails are recommended per mitre slot for optimal performance.
