Craftsman or Black & Decker 20v battery connector

The contacts used in my final product are 1/2" copper pipe straps flattened and cut in half, providing a sturdy base for the electrical connections. To secure them firmly, an M4*8 screw with a lock nut is utilized, requiring a snug fit to prevent any movement. Before gluing the top plate in place, it's essential to insert the soldered contacts into their designated positions and tighten the screws. This step ensures that all electrical components are properly seated before final assembly. Note that there is sufficient clearance for 8 AWG wire, although this thickness is significantly larger than necessary for most applications. A more suitable choice would be 10 to 16 AWG wire, depending on the specific requirements of your project.
