The craftsman saw's mechanism receives the piece directly behind its handle where the bevel lock engages with a gear-shaped component. Initially, I attempted to create this gear shape using Fusion 360, resulting in a somewhat rough design. It successfully integrates at a precise angle and was carefully maneuvered into place by wiggling it slightly.
