I've been looking for a way to add lighting to my saddlebags without having to wire them directly into the bike. It's also become necessary for me to work on the bike in the dark while parked on the side of the road, so I wanted something that would allow me to have a reliable light source at hand. There is a slight curve to one side of the mount where it makes contact with the lid of my saddlebags, and this surface features grooves to increase its adhesive properties when using epoxy.
