This 3D model originated in Sketchup 8 before being converted into multiple formats. The native format is .skp with a 3dsmax scene from 3ds Max 2016, rendered using Vray 3.00. A medium-sized bungalow with three bedrooms and one bathroom features standard characteristics commonly seen on the outskirts of large northern cities. It was built to resemble classic Harris kit homes popular in the 10's, 20's, and 30's. The houses often stand in long rows, blending together with either identical or similar floor plans. Each row usually boasts a dormer above, side stairs, and a basement. These narrow lots are typical of neighborhoods found in cities like Detroit, Michigan, USA, which I had the opportunity to visit recently. The kitchen has been updated to suit modern living styles, while retaining its original layout elsewhere, including my favorite part: the fireplace. Notable exterior features include the porch and the striking dormer on top.
