Craftsman 113.243310 Band Saw Table Insert

Two custom table inserts fit perfectly for the Craftsman 113.243310 12-inch band saw, designed specifically to meet its unique needs. Since standard inserts wouldn't work on this model, I created two versions using DesignSpark Mechanical software. One provides nearly zero clearance, while the other offers a larger blade cutout for easier access. Printing these inserts is relatively straightforward. A glass bed with PEI coating works well, and ABS filament yields a strong finish as shown. If you prefer PLA, it should also produce excellent results. When printing directly on the build plate, selecting "Doesn't Matter" for Raft settings ensures a smoother surface finish. Since these inserts are quite large, adhesion shouldn't be an issue, even at moderate print speeds. For added strength, I opted for 50% infill, but you may be able to achieve sufficient durability with less material if desired.
