Crafting New Industries
thingiverse
It's an innovative garment-making device. Years ago, prior to the industrial revolution, we crafted clothing by hand, such as clothes, shoes, and socks, all made entirely by our hands. To create these garments, people needed to measure their height and angles carefully beforehand. However, after the industrial revolution began, folks started using apparel machines and models to produce garments. Although many people can wear similar-angled apparel now, it doesn't necessarily mean their clothing fits comfortably. Sometimes you'll love a pair of shoes, but discover an awkward angle, even if the size is correct. It's not entirely unusual, since everyone has distinct body angles. Therefore, I designed this device to make customized-angle garments for customers. I'm unsure how many years it will take before people can actually invent such a machine, but I'm confident they'll develop soft and creative materials for 3D printing soon. I also believe they'll create a machine similar to the one I've designed, which will enable apparel designers to focus solely on designing various kinds and styles of clothing without worrying about angles or sizes. The intelligent 3D printing machine will take care of those details for customers. As you can see from the pictures provided, there are numerous "legs" in this garment-making device. Each "leg" is capable of moving into different angles. In front of the machine, two advanced computers help people measure their unique angles and input them into the device to create customized garments. Sometimes, customers want to create custom angles, so I've included two buttons on these computers that allow users to control the exterior "legs" for a more personalized fit.
