Craftbot Tool Holder
thingiverse
This remake will contain a variety of handheld instruments, caliper, two different sizes of glue sticks and further print heads. I sought out a tool holder to keep my work area organized and while I had previously printed Jay Raxter's excellent Craftbot hex tool holder, I wanted something that could also hold extra tools I regularly use when I engage in three-dimensional printing. My remake is mostly based on coolreactions' "Robo Tool Holder," but I modified it to fit onto the Craftbot as well as expand the size and number of the tool holder slots. I also utilize a larger sized glue-stick, and while coolreactions' tool holder includes a spot for standard-sized glue sticks, I required something to hold my bigger one.. I integrated mbasov's "Tool Clamp" customized holder, tailored specifically for the larger .77oz / 22g sized glue stick. Instructions Unfortunately due to the overhang caused by the strip necessary to mount the tool holder onto the craftbot, you need to use support under the overhang.. Otherwise no other support is required. I printed mine in PLA at .3mm layer height and sliced in Cura.
