Craftbot swiveling Camera Mount for PS3 Eye Camera
thingiverse
I'm using Octopi with a PS3 Eye Camera to monitor my prints and I had to find a way to attach it to the front of my 3D printer because I planned to add an acrylic front door. To open the door quickly, I wanted the mount to be removable without having to unscrew it every time. So, I came up with a design that includes an integrated hinge to swivel the camera and its mount away from the print bed when opening or closing the front door. I used this mount for my PS3 Eye camera: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:98767. It's essential to print it with 100% infill so the hinge can break loose freely, otherwise it may not be strong enough. Here are my print settings: * Printer: Craftbot * Rafts: No rafts were used in this print. * Supports: No supports were added for this print. * Resolution: A layer resolution of 0.2mm was chosen for optimal image quality. * Infill: The infill density is set to 100%, which helps maintain the structural integrity of the printed part and allows the hinge to move freely without breaking loose.
