This is just a compact tool holder that utilizes a single screw at the top of the craftbot. My craftbot is in a cramped space so I needed a small holder to prevent losing the included hex keys. You may need to trim a tiny bit to get it to fit depending on how you print it, but once you've got that sorted out, the tools are removable as a group from the top side so you don't have to constantly reach for them. I made sure there was a good fit, but due to the size I had to shave down some of the edges a bit. I renamed the files so I could tell which one was the newer version and included my initials through the top to make it easier to print flat. It looks much better now. Update: June 13, 2015 I have now updated my tool holder. It now has thicker walls because I almost broke the one I had and realized that this needed to be fixed. I've also got all the holes aligned correctly now. Keep in mind that this was my very first 3D printer project and I was still learning the software too. The software is getting better, so I thought I'd make those changes to try it out. Instructions Update: August 19, 2019 I just updated the top mount of the tool holder. I managed to break one of the tiny front tabs, so I strengthened that part. The bottom or removable piece is still the same. Update: June 13, 2015 I printed this using the following settings: Extrusion width: .4 Layer Height: .2 Triangle Grid 25% infill Head Temp: 215C Bed Temp: 55c I currently have Craftware 1.10 beta installed on this machine. You can tweak it for a finer print if you want, but I found this to work well so far. It takes about 50 minutes to print both parts. Now the fit is much better too. The top piece is a few mm wider and so is the bottom to accommodate for the one or two mm of material I added to the sides. I also worked on the holes to give them a tiny bit of friction so the keys can't just slide out. Don't worry, the keys go in snug but you don't need to force them like my previous version. Actually, you won't have to do much on this one either. Printing this on medium to high quality will give you better and smoother lines.
