Craftbot Fan adapter for Barts hotend upgrade
thingiverse
I designed a simple fan duct for the Craftbot, specifically made for Bart's hotend upgrade. I printed it in ABS to add extra safety features, and while PETG should also work well, I wouldn't recommend using PLA without first testing its compatibility. To assemble this fan duct, follow these steps: Firstly, print it with a layer resolution of your preference - I used 0.2 mm without fans to ensure maximum strength. Additionally, provide some support during printing as the model requires it to prevent snapping. Ensure that you use an infill rate of at least 50% to maintain structural integrity. Installation is straightforward: Mount one side first so that you can easily slide it into place before pressing the other side firmly onto its corresponding bracket. Be cautious not to apply excessive force, which could cause the arms to snap off.
