Craft Vinyl Holder
thingiverse
Here are some improvements I made to make this text easier to read. I crafted a standard hexagon design to produce holders that are two inches in size for cutting Vinyl. I added tips at the top to securely hold scraps or sheets or rolls that are significantly larger than two inch diameters.\nI engineered it to be fully functional after one print, which is why it has a two inch z length so rolls will hold firmly within it without any additional support.\nI included pictures to demonstrate that it worked flawlessly!\nThere are guided holes positioned at angles for the screws, this was done to enable someone to install it without having the lip protrude too high and save on plastic.\n**** I also provided a half version of this design if you want to install two separate racks. (this will help reduce plastic usage as the main holder weighed approximately 180 grams and the half version will be around 88 grams together when printed both.\nI designed it on a nine inch bed, which may pose challenges for those who do not have one. If there is any interest I will work on creating a modular set that hooks into the wall and then can be added to as you purchase more vinyl...\nI am also experimenting with designing a three rack version so it would only measure six by six inches.
