Creating custom mounts requires a solid base, so I typically design my cradles on a 150mm x 150mm plate for maximum stability. To build the foundation of the cradle, you'll need to insert an M8 threaded bolt into each corner, secured firmly with nuts. I find this approach works perfectly for my Advantech UTX-3115 gateways - its sturdy frame can easily be mounted on a custom-made platform using M8 threaded hardware.
