Cradle of Liberty This statue honors all who wore the uniform of the United States from the Revolutionary War onward. The soldier is holding a child wrapped in the Revolutionary flag. The child whose name is Liberty is reaching for the soldier knowing that she needs his protection to survive. The soldier has no name because he represents all the veterans, regardless of gender, race, or creed. Created by Rebecca Joy Truman, dedicated on July 4th, 1998. 3D scanned by Marcio's Corner in May 2023 using Artec LEO 3d Scanner.
