Cracking like Nuts (cnc)

We have an enormous walnut tree in our backyard. Breaking open all those nuts is a pretty tough job. I got a nice nutcracker that I actually used as a template for my own version. The only drawback is, it takes a lot of force to crack the nuts. 'Cracking like Nuts' uses another approach: the eccentric handle gives a nice amount of leverage. As the handle pushes the nuts to the end, it's impossible to lose grip. To build it, I used some 20 mm walnut, which is kind of recursive and milled the parts on my desktop CNC machine by Stepcraft. Again, I did without double-sided machining. The base parts are glued in place with a machine screw (M5) that serves as the bolt. No counternut was needed since the hole in the second half of the base is slightly smaller. I'm not sure if a print from plastics could withstand the force, but if someone wants to try, I'd be glad to get feedback. Visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/ for more interesting designs.
