A highly intricate 3D replica of a fractured asphalt slab has been meticulously crafted. This detailed reconstruction was achieved by employing photo-scanning techniques, utilizing a total of 240 distinct images. These photographs were then painstakingly processed using Reality Capture's sophisticated tools. The resulting data was subsequently input into Maya and ZBrush for further refinement. The dimensions of this remarkable model are substantial: it spans an impressive X-axis measurement of 273.5 cm in length, while its Y-axis extends a mere 1.5 cm and its Z-axis reaches an astonishing height of 170 cm. This model has been deliberately centered on all three axes to ensure maximum stability and accuracy. When viewed at medium resolution, the model boasts an impressive array of features, including one highly detailed replica (423,000 tris) and a comprehensive 8k diffuse map (.tif).
