Cracked Egg Puzzle
thingiverse
I'm excited to share a new puzzle that builds upon one of my own creations. If you've printed my "All Five Platonic Solids" challenge, you'll recognize the mechanism behind this coordinate-motion puzzle, which harnesses the same power as the icosahedral part of the original puzzle. The twist? This one forms a perfect sphere when assembled. Like its icosahedral cousin, this puzzle boasts chiral tetrahedral symmetry, denoted by "T" in Schoenflies notation. As such, you'll need to print four identical copies of the basic piece to complete the puzzle. As always, I've included the Python (Jupyter) notebook that helped me bring this model to life.
