One of my supporters suggested that a base with a cracked earth texture would make an excellent backdrop for miniatures. I decided to take on the challenge while working on my next character model. A base with this textured pattern would look fantastic when painted in shades of brown and yellow, evoking a sense of parched earth. However, I now believe it could also work well painted in whites and blues to represent a cracked ice landscape! I've updated my magnetic 25 mm base (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3442245) with a matching top pattern.
