Crack The Code Safe Puzzle Box
thingiverse
This is a 3D printable version of my Arduino-based Crack The Code puzzle box that I designed using laser cutting technology. A dial on the front allows you to input guesses for the randomly generated code, which are then displayed through 8 LEDs to show how many digits have been correctly guessed and how many are in the correct position. Using this feedback, you can make iterative guesses until you crack the code and open the safe. Here's a step-by-step guide to building your own Crack The Code Puzzle Box: https://www.the-diy-life.com/crack-the-code-game-built-into-a-diy-safe-puzzle-box/ Or watch the video of the build and the box being opened on YouTube: https://youtu.be/33jPNMU3N5Q To print this safe, place the front opening facing upwards. You may need to add supports for the box's front lip before printing. The patterns on the sides and top are less pronounced than those on the laser cut version because they only protrude 0.5mm and most printers won't require additional support. The cutouts for the LEDs and encoder on the front door may need adjustment depending on your printer's tolerance.
