CR6-MAX and CR6-SE linear rail plate
thingiverse
HI there, this is my design of the plate required to modify your CR6-SE or CR6-MAX to have a linear rail on the X-Axis. A few mods are required to achieve this: - replace the 20x20 extrusion so that you can mount the linear rail onto the front. - Move the X end stop to the outside of the X-Axis motor cover. - Shorten the timing belt (I use a zip tie and don't cut it). Once these are done, this pate will mount directly to a 12mm linear rail. You will need to press some M3 Brass inserts into the plate as well. Make sure they are flush though as the hot end bracket needs to be bolted down tight and flush against the plate. I print my plates in PETG. Seems to be great.
