I created a simple coin cell battery holder design that was quick to assemble for my low power instrumentation amplifier project. To get started, I ran the wires through the holes and made sure they were secure on both sides. The top and bottom surfaces of the design deformed slightly, which helped keep pressure on the wire contacts. This solution worked perfectly. Before assembling several parts into a small metal box, I wrapped some tape around the plus and minus wires for added security. The 0.75mm threads printed well with a 0.1mm layer height in my 3D printer. To ensure a smooth print, it's essential to flip over the top part before slicing and printing. I designed this simple battery holder using Fusion 360 software.
