I'll take care of your battery holder for CR123A-sized Lithium Batteries. It's a simple solution for charging these batteries using a TP4056 board, which can be found on online marketplaces like eBay. Now let's get into the instructions. First off, I got some batteries from eBay that promised an incredible 1000mAh of capacity, but boy, was I wrong! After putting them through their paces in charge-discharge cycles, they barely topped out at 300mAh. To keep these batteries safe while charging, you're going to need to swap out the default 1 A set resistor on your board. To find a suitable replacement, I went with a 3.9k Ohm SMT resistor, and it gets the job done by delivering roughly 300mA of charge current. For those interested, refer to the TP4056 datasheet for more details, specifically the handy resistor-current chart. As this was my very first ABS print, I'm stoked that it turned out so well.
