to remove vertical wiggling during retraction moves i modified mikelanes design so you can use the x-axis roller/carriage bolts to fasten the direct drive conversion mount instead. furthermore i aligned the preexisting slots with the openings on the carriage, widened the motor mount brackets and removed the four zip-tie loops. during reassembly take off the parts cooling fan for it to be reassembled last, after you have put the blue hotend assembly back onto the carriage plate. it will fit. shoutout to mikelane for the very nice initial design !
