Cr10, Cr10s (and others with same hotend assembly) small v6 clone mount. The goal was to design a compact v6 clone mount that closely mirrors the OEM Z nozzle height and X location. It features a sliding base lock to firmly secure it against the hotend carriage and OEM fixing points. The base ring component of the mount is printed separately for ease and material efficiency. Once printed, it bonds with the base, which then mounts to the carriage using standard screws. The v6 slots in place, while the other ring part secures with M3 screws. The base ring includes slots for M3 nuts. Please use washers when tightening, as the parts might break without them if over-torqued. The base lock slides from the right side, keeping the assembly snug against the carriage. Tolerances are set at 0.1-0.2mm gaps for interlocking components. In my case, that proved too generous, but printing in annealing PLA helped achieve a perfect fit after annealing. Once everything is aligned, the mount becomes rock solid. To accommodate this setup, move the Y-axis limit switch forward by 10mm (simply unscrew the two screws, slide it forward 10mm, and reattach). This mount also provides sufficient clearance to swap out the v6 heater block for a volcano heater block. I've also designed adjustable fan mounts for v6 and volcano, which I'll be uploading soon. A picture illustrates how this design was organized in the slicer for printing. The base attaches using old M3 hotend screws. The v6 hotend secures with an M3 screw at least 16mm long (I used a longer one).
