CR10s Ultimate Brace 3/8 rod!
thingiverse
I designed and made this "Ultimate" frame brace for the CR10s from the "Ultimate" frame brace I had made for my Anet A8 a few years ago: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3152453 With these parts and the parts listed above just about any printer can get an ultimate brace if you know how to use TInkerCad or Fusion360 etc... This is a ready to print... requires some drilling into wood and the plastic parts you make. (no drilling or damage to your printer with this). Tools need: hack saw tape measure drill with variety of bits wrenches Buy: 7 threaded rods that are 3/8" thick and 24 inches long they measure 9mm in width a strong 1/2" or 3/4" thick mounting board that is at least 2feet X 2 feet like my board. Buy at least 30 nuts to go on the threaded rod you buy at least 30 washers for the threaded rod 6 short bolts with nuts that are about 1/4 inch and 2 inches long for the lower mounting point blocks and the lower brace mount knuckle that will attach to it. 16 small bolts and nuts to attach as a pivot pin to the top mounting blocks... I use the Amazon metric bolts with size M8 and other various sizes and lengths for $10... See link above for details for further instructions. Print 1-top left big mounting block 1-top right big mounting block 6- Base2 parts as they are anchor points on board 6- BasePart2 parts as they are the pivot and mounting to hold the threaded rod 8- top mount block parts At least 2 Brace down parts to further help hold the printer down. I printed two sets of red, white, and blue for a patriotic frame. You need a decent skill level in common sense and how to drill holes in things like the top mount parts so the two stock bolts for each top mount plate can be held down... if you can't figure that out it's okay just put some double sided foam tape on the printed top mount blocks that make contact with the top of the printer to help it not wiggle.
