This is my take on a direct drive setup for the CR10s-Pro using an E3D Titan extruder and E3D V6 hotend. I also wanted a setup that makes it easy to access the extruder while keeping the footprint minimal. This has not been tested yet, so your feedback would be greatly appreciated. I designed this setup specifically to work with the E3D V6 hotend, not the stock hotend or a Micro Swiss style hotend. The design also uses the stock cooling fan found on the E3D V6 to keep the overall profile small. The part cooling fan comes in two styles: one that fits a 3mm x 5.5mm knurled nut insert and another that uses a nut pocket for a 3mm hex nut. The part cooling fan mounts to a 5015 blower and shares one mounting screw with the Titan extruder. I designed this basic fan mount as a starting point, and expect future revisions to improve it. The mounting plate supports both the stock capacitive probe and an 18mm inductive probe. It holds each probe in place using a single 3mm set screw. The mounting plate attaches to the stock X Gantry with two 3mm x 10mm screws. Overall, this mount is very sturdy and securely positions the part cooling fan to prevent it from moving while only being single-point mounted. The mounting plate can also accommodate a pancake stepper motor or the larger stock extruder stepper motor. Future designs will include options for BLTouch, wire management, a fan duct for volcano hotends, and an upgraded part cooling duct. ABL Probe offsets are x -25, y 14.
