CR10S Pro Hot End fan shroud for 4020 blower
thingiverse
Replacement for original shroud designed specifically for 4020 turbine fan to efficiently cool down the Hot End Radiator. Created to significantly decrease noise levels and utilize standard turbine, which I replace with 5015 for air duct purposes. Works seamlessly with original air duct for filament cooling and also compatible with all custom cooling ducts that require original shroud mounting points, which are located at the same position. May necessitate different screw lengths - I have not verified this requirement. Offers greatly improved access to the nozzle, allowing for easy nozzle changes without removing the shroud (a challenging task with the original version). Under testing v1 printed in PLA material. Suggest printing in PETG for enhanced results. Already prepared v2 design features increased distance from the Hot end area and added fillets and chamfers to enhance strength. V3, if implemented, will include a lowered fan with 5mm to completely cover the radiator. Presently, my hot end radiator is cool to the touch during PLA printing at 225*C temperatures. Can be used in conjunction with lower voltage settings to decrease RPM and noise levels. In my setup, I have successfully integrated it with "CR10s Pro fan duct with extra arm" designed by "Passman3d," which can be accessed through the following link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3613494 The last picture illustrates a suggested print proposal using Cura software. Additional required parts include: 7 x M3 nuts 3 x M3x25 screws Soldering or quick connectors for fan wiring
