This filament guide will silence that squeak for sure. No alteration to your printer is necessary at all. The filament can be taken out of the guide for cold pulls and such, and then easily put back in through the notch. Installation instructions are as follows: 1) Unscrew the filament runout sensor block. 2) Optional: while the block is out, a drop of oil should be placed on the runout sensor limit switch roller. 3) The guide goes underneath the runout sensor block. 4) Reinstall the block and the screws, but don't tighten them yet. 5) Insert a piece of filament into the printer, making sure there's good alignment between the guide, the runout sensor, and the extruder gears. 6) Tighten the screws. 7) Your printer will now be squeak-free!
