CR10S Pro - Buck Converter Case (Buckpack)
thingiverse
I wanted to create a clean way to incorporate a buck converter case with the existing chassis for the CR10S Pro / Pro V2. I have an additional buck converter inside the transfer board case itself, powering one of the two fans near the hot end. There left no room for an additional buck converter for that 2nd fan - so I created the "Buckpack" it's like a backpack for the transfer board case. It has tabs that match up exactly with the tabs on the transfer board case and you simple set it on top, and screw it in. No extra hardware or anything. Super clean looking. Almost OEM. Look at the pictures on how I arranged it for printing in Cura. It was weird to figure out a minimal way to use supports - but I think you have to use some. This is specifically for those smaller LM2596 buck converters without the digital lcd readout. The lid is snap fit and vented. Printed on my trusty Ender 3 using Cura to slice at 0.2 layer height with 20% infill and 20% Grid supports.
