CR10s E3D V6 & Part Cooling Fan Mount
thingiverse
A compact design for the E3D v6 and a 40mm blower fan is now complete, with a bolt interface added on one side to accommodate a probe bracket that will be installed later. Two additional mounting interfaces are also included on the blower side, potentially useful for future upgrades such as LED brackets or an extra bracket for the nozzle. As plans evolve, these interfaces may see further use. Updates will follow once decisions are made and proper designs are finalized. A parts list detailing all necessary bolts and nuts is forthcoming, with everything designed to utilize M3 bolts and nuts. Update 03/08/2018: The printed components have been installed without incident, with the depth of holes in e3d_mnt_cr10_01 adjusted to ensure a flush fit on the carriage plate. Photos are now available. The part cooling fan remains unconnected, awaiting wiring, while the rest of the system operates smoothly. A nozzle to direct airflow towards the print is still required for optimal performance. To avoid print head interference, remember to add a bracket for the Z-endstop, as the nozzle tip sits slightly lower than expected. An endstop bracket will be designed and installed soon.
