CR10 Z Crash Pads
thingiverse
Crash pads safeguard printers by preventing the nozzle from crashing into the print bed. They intervene when a runaway G code, firmware glitch or malfunctioning Z-probe/limit switch occurs. Motors stall out, giving you time to shut down the printer safely. To install crash pads: You will need two M3x10 socket head cap screws and two M3 hammerhead T-nuts. Position your Z at its lowest height, then mount the crash pads to the frame against the X gantry as shown in the pictures.
