CR10 v3 (and v2) for v6 and volcano hotend mount
thingiverse
The casing I had for the original cr10 v3 hotend kept clogging. I replaced the heatbreak with an all metal heatbreak and ended up having to replace the whole casing due to melting. There were not any out there that was compatible with the v2 (let alone the v3) so I designed my own. All of the fans are from the stock v3. The only thing extra that is added to this setup is the v6/volcano hotend and heatsync. I was lucky enough to have a secondary printer to print replacement parts for this. I printed this in PETG (might work in PLA, but I have no idea how much warping can affect it). This should be compatible with the v6 and volcano hotend. I have not tried to fit a volcano on this but it should fit, all you have to do is move the adjustable parts fan to the right height. The screws that you will need for this are - 3 m3x10mm - For mounting the main mount onto the v2/v3 carriage. - 5 m4x25mm - 2 for mounting the heatsink fan mount to the main mount, 2 for mounting the parts fan onto the parts fan mount, and 1 for mounting the parts fan mount to the heatsync fan mount. - The screws that came with the stock heatsync fan. - The screws that mount the extruder onto the carriage that came with the stock printer. I've included the f3z file here (I think other people can import into their fusion) for any remixes. If people are willing to remix this to improve the parts fan mount or make another one, feel free to do it. It was kind of a pain to get printing right.
