This is a simple X axis linear rail upgrade. Uses 1 MGN12 rail/block, a couple hammer nuts and screws as well as printed files. I wanted to find an easy solution that did not require any major parts changes or disassembly to my X axis. This is my solution and it works well for a fraction of the cost of upgrade kits. Order 400mm MGN12 linear block and rail. depending on your belt tensioner setup you may need to cut rail length down (I had to cut to 380mm). Print files as loaded with no supports. i suggest using high wall count 6-8 and 7-8 top & bottom layers with at least 30% infill for the carriage plate. The home switch mount can be 4-6 walls/top & bottom with 25% infill. Once you have removed your stock carriage plate and home switch mount install you linear rail using 6-8 hammer nuts and 3mm x8 screws. Using the print alignment tool center your rail and secure tightly to extrusion. Remove your home switch from factory mount and install on printed mount. Using 4x's m3 x 6mm screws attach printed carriage plate to your MGN12 linear block. Reinstall your stepper motor and home switch mount securely then reattach your belt to carriage plate. Install your hotend to carriage plate using all stock hardware. Once hotend is installed tension belt back to preferred tension. Due to added thickness of rail and bearing block you will need to change the nozzle offset either in your firmware or slicer. ( -9.0mm on the X axis. Relevel your bed and enjoy the smoothness of your upgraded X axis linear rail mod. Not the one you have to use but the one I used. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0762MKQFD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
