CR10 v2 Filament Guide

CR10 v2 Filament Guide

I was unable to locate a standard filament guide for the CR10 v2, which comes equipped with a built-in filament sensor, but a top-mounted spool holder does create some drag where the filament enters. Some users have reported seeing filament dust on their CR10, although it's unclear whether this issue affects the v2 model. To avoid these problems and ensure a smooth printing experience, I designed a simple filament guide that consists of three parts: a base, a wheel, and an optional pin for securing the assembly without using screws. The base is held in place by a piece of filament or a metal pin. The base fits snugly into position using the four screws that normally hold the sensor in place, which are more than sufficient in length. This design does not alter the height of the sensor, as it's already elevated, so the filament remains level. It's worth noting that I only have experience with the CR10 v2 and do not know if this guide will fit other models, such as the CR10S.
